I am a teacher that has been directly affected by the hurricane. These laptops will allow my students to do research and write while still in the classroom. Our library as well as the public library were severely damaged in the hurricane. The music I use teaches theme and voice. Each day we listen to different styles of music and discuss culture and how it influences the poetic voice. It also exposes young people to different ideas and viewpoints which I find helps them to become better writers. Currently, since the storm, we do not have access to either of these resources. I would love our students see some of their previous routine return.
