First Graders benefit from mini whole group lessons along with small group interaction. The more variety of resources used helps the students (ELLs and ESLs) grasp and apply the foundational skills in phonics and reading that are needed. The Mobile Easel is a teacher's and student's dream come true because of its accessibility that can be moved easily and quickly around the classroom, and also its versatility in allowing for white board access and anchor chart holders. The children will be able to come up and participate in daily word work activities by placing their magnetic letters directly on the easel making it more interactive and engaging for the student. I hope you can help me and my 18 little friends have a great rest of the year filled with lots of learning!
