The students throughout the school do programs throughout the year. Our technology on stage is extremely outdated and has been worn to the point that it doesn't consistently work. With the help of this, the students can begin to have solos and spoken parts in musicals without fear of equipment failure. It has happened several times that equipment has failed at the last minute, and students are nervous enough without adding something else to be concerned about. Decent amplification is important, and this will allow for that with minimal risk of problems. The nice thing about this microphone is that it will also allow for use in our recording room. This will allow for more recorded work by the students that can be distributed throughout the school and district.
