The folding exercise mats will allow students to safely explore gymastics and parkour based activities during PE & recess. I plan on taking pictures of their successes and posting the pictures in the gym and throughout the school to highlight their accomplishments. I want them to know that they don't have to love sports to be healthy, fit, and active for a lifetime. They just have to love themselves! We have a PE program that is based on health and fitness knowledge in order to create the foundation for them to be their own nutrititionist and personal trainers when they graduate high school. Our focus on motor skill development as well as heart rate training puts them in the driver seat to decide what they like to do and how to do it for the rest of their lives.
