We need more nonfiction STEM books in our new school library. Our school didn't have a library program until recently, and we are working to build our collection. Our Genius Squad classes helped me put together this list of STEM books based on recently recommended titles from the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), and Edutopia. They are excited to read them and share them with the students in our school through book talks and trailers that they will create. (Genius Squad is a course where students learn technology skills and have opportunities to create and innovate, as well as lead and teach their fellow classmates.)
