Stability balls will allow our students to move, balance and focus. By reducing restlessness they will improve their focus to enhance their ability to learn. The stability balls will also heighten the students ability to sit up straight as well as engage their core muscles. This form of sitting will allow positional changes without the need to get up from their desks excessively. When the brain is stimulated, it is more focused on learning. When students sit on the stability ball, both sides of the brain will be engaged in keeping their bodies centered on the ball. As the brain is stimulated not only is the brain better suited to process new information, young minds are also better able to concentrate on the aspects of their learning environment.
