Our class recently adopted a class pet, Kiwi the hamster. They are learning about the needs of living things as well as the responsibility of taking care of a pet. We have discussed how small our current cage is, and they have been begging for a bigger cage so that Kiwi may live his 'best life'. The cage we have found comes with everything a hamster needs! It's described as the rolls royce of hamster cages. It comes equipped with food dishes, slides, tunnels, ect. The kiddos oohed and aahhhed at every picture! We even read customer reviews (goes with our opinion writing unit!). They are ready to help give Kiwi an excellent life and this is our first step!
