Reading should be a refuge, not a chore. Many of my students have never read a book, some because they cannot read and others because they haven't had access to books on a regular basis. I want to create a classroom library where my students' find the joy of reading and feel success daily. Every child should have a favorite book! This library will help my students with fluency and confidence to overcome the obstacles they struggle with on a daily basis. I want my students to come in the morning asking to read and wanting to take books home because they can't put them down.
