I am a math and science teacher for Portland Public Schools. I teach as part of the Day and Residential Treatment Programs for PPS. My program SAGE, is a residential program for commercially sexually exploited female youth. My program provides a safe therapeutic and learning environment for our students. Our students are given the time they need to heal while also making efforts to stay on track academically. Our program is small and many people and organizations are not aware of our services. We really can use any financial support you can provide. Our school does not have a PTA or other volunteer body to raise additional funds for school enrichment, and honestly basic school supply needs. Any support you can give is tremendously appreciated.
