In our current welding space, my students are using older ARC welders and Oxy-Fuel welding set-ups from times past. To be a viable learning experience for my students, we need to get some industry standard welding equipment into their hands. Something they can learn in the classroom, and take directly with them into the real world. I am asking for a MIG Welder Millermatic. This welder would get us away from teaching a skill that has greatly reduced in industry in the last 50 years. With a MIG welder in my shop, my students will be learning the most up-to-date welding processes on the most up-to-date equipment.
