We are a classroom of diverse learners! We are an inclusion class with varying abilities. In first grade, all of our students are learning how to read and write; however, they are all at learning at different paces. Some of our students are struggling readers. First grade is a crucial learning period. Students are now reading sight words and decoding tricky words. We are laying the foundation for them as readers. Our students are always excited to engage in literacy opportunities. They are always eager to learn new words.
