I am requesting problem-solving and daily math journals for my math classes. These journals will be used daily during our Math Stations and at home. They will allow them more opportunities to think critically and problem-solve each and every day. One skill that most students lack now is thinking critically and these materials will give them the opportunity to put this skill to use. My students will work individually and groups to practice this skill during the classroom and at home. By increasing their critical thinking skills my students will excel in 4th grade and be prepared to move on to 5th grade.
