Currently my scholars have limited access to computers both in the classroom and at home. I believe that technology is essential in a scholars academic success.The amount of resources that are available to scholars through technology is incredible. I feel it is my job to provide my scholars with as much access to multiple resources as possible. I provide my scholars intense small group instruction when they are struggling with a particular concept. These tablets will not only help me give scholars the opportunity to utilize various mathematics apps and lessons. These tablets will also allow me to differentiate my instruction to where I am able to model the thinking process throughout various word problems, and allow scholars to model their thinking through digital manipulatives like Thinking Blocks.
