Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, students have faced numerous challenges that have led to a downtick in student mental health. Art is one of the most valuable resources we have in the educational setting to help students express themselves and find their niche. These supplies will help our art class become more dynamic and allow students to implement creativity and expression into their school life. Many students find refuge in their art class, where the terms upon which they work are general and allow for student expression. The class is wonderful for teaching students to work independently and manage their own time, skills essential for them to find success in high school. Moreover, the students are able to honor their themselves as they express themselves.

About my class
