I am striving to encourage students to become independent learners. One way I do this is through differentiated instruction and tailoring the learning to my individual students. These headphones will allow students to work at their own pace and work independently. My students will use these headphones in combinations with websites, videos and other engaging learning opportunities. These headphones will be utilized across all core subjects of math, reading, science and social studies. I am fortunate in my classroom to have access to Chromebooks, these headphones would allow for a wider range of activities. Many of my students have limited access to technology outside of school. I continue to work towards making our technology as engaging and effective as possible. This will help me meet the needs of my students and will have a positive impact on our classroom environment.
