My students crave choice and a sense of control within the classroom. Students will have the freedom and choice to choose seating that works best with their personality and learning style. The lap desks will be offered to students, so they may work where they are comfortable. The wobble chiars will give students flexibility and choice on where to sit during centers, mini lessons, and writing (Especially for my hyperactive students). They will hopefully become more engaged in their learning and focus on the task at hand. For some of my students that have classifications that cause them to constantly need stimulation, this will be great! For the rest of the students, they will be excited to have choice seating and they will love the idea of having a variety of places that they can go to complete their work.
