My students are special because they are diverse learners who want to experience a fun and enriching education. I am a fifth/sixth grade teacher in the city of Buffalo, New York. My students love to come to school and I love to make school a safe environment where all can learn. I have students with many different academic needs and backgrounds. No matter what, it is my job to make sure they all learn. I also have students who are coming from economically challenged homes. Therefore it is my job to make sure my classroom feels safe. On top of everything, it is also important to have materials to engage my learners. A classroom environment is what makes learning fun! Each group of students are unique and special. However, something that remains the same is the importance of our classroom community. Every donation will help me reach my students and create a learning rich environment that also feels safe and secure.
