Our students are the perfect representation of America. They are beyond diverse and strive to make a better life. Many come from a low socioeconomic status, which increases the obstacles they must overcome just to get an education. Everyone has personal battles to overcome, but some of what our students overcome daily would lead many adults to giving up. Many have countless obstacles to overcome which often leads to education being placed lower on the priority list. By showing we cate, we in turn teach the students to care about education.

About my class
