I am the lucky teacher of 25 unique students. They come from many different backgrounds and experiences, but each child has at least one thing in common, they all love coming to school each morning. Leadership opportunities need to be available, taught, and practiced. We start each morning with an emphasis on relationship building. During this time we share stories, sing songs, and greet one another with a smile and a cheer. These students are learning necessary skills such as the ability to collaborate and disagree politely. These skills pour over into our classroom lessons and on the playground. My students are becoming stronger leaders day by day. I believe that a true love of learning starts in the early years. My goal is to inspire these students to create an even better and brighter future.
