Very few people realize the importance of having proper track and field equipment for specific events. Students need this equipment to be able to compete against their more affluent peers whose school districts have all this equipment. Funding this project will help my students as they gear up for track season. Coaching becomes easier when you don't have to worry about the spending money out of your own pocket to provide equipment for your team. The shot puts, disc and medicine balls will be beneficial during training so they can track their progress towards a personal best. This equipment is essential when you push your body to its greatest limit, they need to be in the best physical shape to do this. This equipment will ensure they receive the necessary training to compete without injury as well.
