My days are blessed with the smiling faces of great, motivated kindergartners having their first school experience. Our schools are predominately low-income (100% of our students receive free lunch and breakfast) but it doesn't stop my students) from coming in everyday will the ability to be the best learner they can be! Our school is located in an inner-city, urban neighborhood.Students are constantly showing their eagerness to learn and dream big! Our classroom consists of many different backgrounds, ethnicity, and learning abilities. We learn, first and foremost, how to work together. During this time we work in groups of 3 or 4 and engage in differentiated learning activities that require both peer to peer interaction and self-motivation. My students are engaged through many hands-on activities and through technology. My students would love to have this technology and rug to help them with there learning of ELA and Math activities and to bring them to life.
