My students come from diverse backgrounds. To engage them in learning, I have been teaching them music from different theatrical genres. The students fell in love with Broadway and requested that I help them create a musical performance. Using their diverse talents, my students have created a performance they would like to perform for the whole school. These students that have difficulty with the English Language, have learned and rehearsed various songs. In order to properly showcase them in the school, we need stage lights and a spotlight. The students have been eagerly and anxiously rehearsing songs and skits for a musical presentation. It would be amazing for their self-esteem, to be able to put on a production with real stage lighting and a spotlight to highlight their musical talents. Your donation would help these students who are transitioning from other countries, feel like they too can shine!
