The supplies I have listed will help pique my students interest in space and flight. Requested materials include Big Bertha Rockets, Rocket Wizards, Rocket Engine Stands, Rocket Solar Starters, and an Alpha III Launch Set. While learning about space stations and satellites, students will use these materials to have hands-on launch projects that strengthen their understanding of how satellites are launched into space. Students will spend time reading about different types of satellites and how those satellites need vehicles such as rockets to carry them into orbit around the earth. The donations for this project will help many of my students because they do not have opportunities to create a project where they can see the direct result of their efforts such as watching their rockets launch. Being able to build and launch a rocket will give my students a sense of pride, and build excitement to learn about space flight technology.
