My students will benefit from this amazing K'Nex set in order for them to go through the STEAM Engineering Design Process. Our students have worked with straws, popsicle sticks, legos and other materials to create model bridges. I found this set after taking a STEAM Makerspace online class. After learning about the educational value of this set and the many pieces that allow for intricate designs, I knew my students would benefit from this. Students will build teamwork and critical thinking skills by working together in partnerships to brainstorm solutions, design a plan, build a model, test their model, and evaluate the outcome. I know their faces will light up with the many possibilities this set provides. Their experiences in my cluster will be true to what a civil engineer does when creating their own models. Please help my students develop a stronger passion for engineering by helping me purchase this kit! Your kindness and generosity is extremely appreciated!
