The majority of my students come from economically disadvantaged homes. We are a class of eight students who are all different from one another. All of my students have multiple disabilities that include but are not limited to physical disabilities, autism, visual impairment, hearing impaired, and intellectual disabilities. We are a nonverbal class who needs materials to help us communicate. Our school educates special education students with the general education students. All of my students need materials that will not only help them communicate in the classroom, but also in the general education classrooms as well. Despite are hardships, our students come to school each and every day eager to learn! We see our students as individuals with a vast amount of potential and not students with hardships!
