My students range from kindergarten to fifth grade. I also teach 3 EC classes. The students come from a wide range of backgrounds. We have a mix of ethnicities in our school. I teach 770 students per week. My classroom is a hive of activity. This Global Studies / STEAM class is new this year and the children have been so excited to come to my lessons each day. I encourage collaboration and teamwork, as well as developing different roles within each group. I am working on setting children problems and for them to be creative and find solutions. They have a lot of time for building, creating, experimenting etc.
