The materials I chose for my DonorsChoose.org Project will support my students as they learn to read. The leveled readers I chose can be read by all my students and allow me to differentiate with the books. I chose three levels of books and some non-fiction books to enhance our classroom library. I also chose a set of book bins to help organize the leveled books and make it easy for my students to locate the appropriate level book for reading. It is important for students to recognize books that are at their level of reading skill. Reading books that are at their level reduces frustration and the boredom of reading books that they have outgrown.
