I teach Gateway to Technology through Project Lead The Way. I teach six classes with approximately 33-35 students in each class. I have a diverse group of students that have chosen this class because they have an interest in pursuing an engineering path in high school. My sixth grade class is an introduction to STEM and STEM careers. Students are introduced to the design process and work collaboratively in an inquiry based setting. The course for seventh grade is Design and Modeling, and eighth grade is Automation and Robotics. In my year-long eighth grade class, I also teach biomed.
