This project will provide my students with the opportunity to experience their science lessons as a game. These breakout boxes and the platform subscription it includes will facilitate the implementation of science and engineering practices along with crosscutting concepts included in the three dimensional lessons of the Next Generation Science Standards. Ample research has proven the value of gamification in learning and my students are the perfect age for immersion in this process. The more I diversify my instruction, the more students I engage. Students and teachers can even design their own games to share within the Breakout EDU community!
