My students, at a young age, already have many responsibilities and hardships that children shouldn't have to deal with. Every day we work on social and emotional learning skills while doing our community gatherings on the rug. Adding DREAM time every day is a fun way to create a well-balanced individual and build a focused classroom community!! The Samsung tablets, yoga mats, and books about yoga will provide my students with individual access to equipment and technology. It will also give them a chance to interact with each other. The yoga literature will also be used in book talks, read alouds and instructional activities. It will not only help their academic grades but build well balanced, focused lifelong learners and expose them to new world of inner peace.
