My energetic class of preschool students with Autism and speech and language impairments love to learn about the world around them through sensory and play experiences. Help me give my students the gift of a new interactive science center that will in turn optimize language development and socialization between peers through hands on sensory play and discovery. A Sand and Water table, with aprons and trays, will support students’ sensory and emotional regulation needs, as they explore and discover the different textures of materials (sand, water, clay) and participate in interactive science lessons and play with friends. Please help me create a classroom science space that supports the language and social development for all of my students in the years to come.
