My students need new stools for the art room! Right now we have a variety of seating in our room, primarily heavy, clunky, hard to move chairs. These are not the typical chairs you see used by artists, they are regular classroom chairs. These chairs do not promote proper posture during the art process. Having stools in the art room encourages students to sit up properly to work on their artwork. I am hoping to add stools to the whole room! Not only will this help with their posture and art skills, it will provide more space in the classroom for more mobility of the students. The students will be able to engage and explore other student's art work. This will allow them to evaluate, self critique, and collaborate more with their peers.
