I use listening activities of native speakers from different Spanish-speaking countries so students can hear varied dialects. I also use short videos for overall Spanish comprehension. My classroom CD and DVD player has broken and won't stay closed without adhesive tape, so we need a new one. We have cultural food days throughout the school year. Students make a recipe of a traditional dish from a Spanish-speaking country and bring it to class as a project. This is a favorite of many students. We need to be able to refrigerate food throughout the school day for the different class periods. My mini fridge is getting old and falling apart, so we need a new one.
