My second graders lack many of the essential materials necessary to be prepared and successful in school. One major area of deficit is the school computer lab. My school does not provide classroom computers for student use, and our computer lab has aging equipment which must be shared among hundreds of students. Chromebooks in my classroom would help my students develop their reading and writing skills. This technology will help prepare my students to be competitive in this digital age. Chrome books will provide my students with access to the 21st century education that all students deserve. This grant will enable my students to access the world in an instructional, appropriate and supervised manner.
