Our students love to READ! Unfortunately, our class library cannot keep up with them. We lack chapter books and books that they enjoy reading chapter books. In ordering books like Diary of a Wimpy Kid and culturally relevant books, they will book they can make connections with. Our school does not have a school library and most of the students do not have transportation or time to go to a public library. That is why it is my job, as their teacher, to give them access to a library in their class. If we were to receive this books, students will enjoy reading and the love of reading will be planted.
