I teach in a small agricultural community in the California Central Valley. Most of my students are of Latino background. Our school just opened this summer with the primary goal to close the achievement gap of children living in rural areas. We are determined to help every child succeed and we are working hard to obtain all the resources we need to ensure they do succeed.
