These reading tools will help my students become better readers, but not only that, it will make it easier for them to comprehend what they read. It is always a struggle for them to transition from guided reading to independent reading because they are not used to reading silently. These whisper phones will make that transition smoother and easier. This great tool accompanied by the various books will continue to build on my students reading comprehension and fluency. Exposing them to various titles and different levels of reading can only be beneficial for all my low-income, unexposed students. The best way to increase reading comprehension and ability is with the continued practiced that these materials will provide.
