We will use our listening center materials during classroom center rotations. This is a time where students will be able to receive direct and individualized instruction. Some students are able to independently read our weekly story, but some find it difficult. Struggling readers will be able to listen to the weekly story and answer question to build their comprehension and fluency. While following along in their books, students will be building their reading fluency and strengthening their text tracking skills. This is a crucial age for students to build their love of reading, and providing instructional support, like a listening center, will allow students to grow.
