I teach first grade in a rural setting. My students are excited to come to school and learn. However many of them have limited experiences and I want to provide as many hands on experiences as possible to keep them engaged in learning. Our free and reduced lunch population is over 50%. At the most, I am provided with $100 for all my classroom supplies for the entire year. Therefore I spend a great deal of my own money to enhance the classroom.

About my class
