I plan on adding these books to my listening station so that the students can listen to them daily during center rotations. Many students could not afford to purchase their own headphones, or purchased cheap ones that have already broke. The headphones that I wish to purchase are good quality and sturdy enough that they will last for a few years. In first grade students grow from simply learning how to read, to developing a love for reading! However, Some of the books that grab their attention are still a bit above their reading level. By purchasing Audio books the students will be able to listen to their favorite stories being read out loud to them while following along in the book.
