The bean bag and couch would allow students to read in a safe, quiet and cozy space in our classroom. I'm also asking for a rug for my students to sit on when we have our classroom meetings, mini lessons, read aloud and share time. These materials would make a major difference to my students learning because the library would provide a motivation to read independently. Who wouldn't like to grab a comfy seat and read? I plan to add stuffed animals and a small rug to entice students more. I'm asking for a classroom rug so that my students and I can come together to share our ideas and learn in a more relaxed setting. It's difficult to sit in one seat all day long so transitioning the rug for a read aloud or mini lesson would be so beneficial to all of us!
