An artist's materials are very important to any project. This project requires oil paint and linseed oil to be used. This is not a medium we are normally able to afford because of the high cost of the materials. When oil painting, supplies go beyond just the painting, but also require materials such as brush cleaner for cleaning your brushes. Students would be using stretched canvases, brushes, and linseed oil in the creation of their paintings. Oil painting is a great painting medium that stay wet for long periods of time allowing you to work into it more later on.
