My students will write a definition paragraph for each of the key vocabulary words for Unit 1, Choices. As students learn academic vocabulary and reading and writing skills, students will work cooperatively in small groups. They will display their group work on the chart papers. Using a document camera is essential in teaching English language learners when the teacher can model, demonstrate, and show examples using a document camera. The use of a microphone system in the classroom will be very helpful when I have to speak through the mask to a large group of students.
