A new team laptop will help the robotics team program and communicate with their robot. The current team laptop is six years old and can't keep up with the processing demands of the newer control software. A new laptop will allow them to continue to compete at a high level and explore new avenues of robotic control. On-board camera vision processing, sonar range finders, accelerometers and gyroscopes all require a lot of processing power. The LG Ultra laptop has the power to meet the current processing demands, as well as meet our future needs.
