Student learning is directly benefitted by the ability to move and be flexible. My students enjoy being able to stand while reading, copying notes, and completing projects. Some of my students are in constant motion! Giving them an adjustable movable desk will help them to work in the way and in a space that is most comfortable for them. In addition, the fidget pedal on this desk will directly positively impact the students who sit sideways, sit on their feet/legs, tap the floor while seeking sensory input, and overall have difficulty maintaining themselves in an instructional space. This moveable and adjustable desk will be life-changing for my students with ADHD, autism, and learning differences.
