The materials you will be helping me purchase will allow my students to have access to more classroom supplies. They will use these supplies to create their own props to go along with the story we will be reading. Right now the students are limited in their prop making because I am lacking a lot of art supplies. My students need to have a full range of art supplies readily available so they are able to use them for prop making. My students will learn to work together as a team to come up with prop ideas for dramatic play. These supplies will give them more options to choose from in the classroom! We need a lot of paint this year, to paint boxes to build different items. This week we built a castle, in three more weeks we will build a pyramid! We will also need the paper, paint, and tissue paper for prop making! All of the manipulatively will be used for center play and fine motor skill building.
