One of the Science and Engineering Practices standards for 6th grade science requires students to learn to measure mass using a triple-beam balance. It is important that students experience using real science equipment, like a scientist would use in a science lab. We do not currently have any balances in our classroom and we need a few to learn how to measure mass and then to use for other science investigations throughout the school year. Please help us learn how to measure mass in science this year. We love science and want to have numerous opportunities to be a scientist.

About my class
