For the last few years the goal has been to engage students through creative work incorporating Makerspace aspects into our classroom. Allowing and encouraging students to learn by doing. Thats where this projects comes into play. With an extra emphasis on the Makers movement in our STEM classroom this year students are able to bring more ideas to fourishion. Ive put together a STEM lab environment where students study and reserach different concepts in the class and enter my lab to bring their imagination and ideas into the design and create phase. One of the missing components needed for this is the hardware to allow students designs to come out. Thats why I have started this project. I have been working to create lessons and project ideas utilizing the abilities of a Maker Machine. The projects range from habitats for wildlife, to design ideas for inventors, engineering challenges to game tokens for our stuents customized math game projects. With this resources my students are able to make things happen.
