Students benefit from cooperative play in a supportive environment. These board games will help them with turn-taking, strategizing cooperatively, and the theories of geometrical shapes through play. Play-based learning builds knowledge through fun. Remember your first board game and the joy and excitement when you rolled the dice or picked the next card? I would love to provide that same feeling for my students. Technology has pushed board games to the side, but I want to bring them back. Students will enjoy choosing these games to play with each other.
