During online learning students at home hat the advantage to move a lot more. Now, students are having a lot a difficulty incorporating staying still while learning. Students are expected to sit still for large portions of the day. They need this flexible seating to be able to channel their energy while learning. Some of my students had never been in school and they need to be able to wiggle and move during instruction in a way that is not interrupting their learning and the learning of other students as well. This incorporates the SEL standards of management which is vital for academic success.
